Salmelan Rusthollimuseo

The 17th-century Rusthollar home museum in Oravala presents the life of a rusthollar from Vistula over several centuries.

The home museum envisioned by Artturi Hiidenheimo (1877-1956), a municipal councillor from Vihti, was completed in 1982. Since 1996, it has been maintained by the Pirkko and Reino Ritvala's Salmela Foundation.

The museum is open by appointment.
