Vihti Church
Vihti Church, designed by Antti Piimänen, was completed in 1772. Back in the day, churches were usually built in the middle of the village. In Vihti, the church is located on the highest hill in the village, making it a key part of the idyllic landscape. The church has a capacity of 500-600 people and is especially crowded at Christmas time.
Vihdi Church is also a popular concert venue for a wide variety of performances. The people of Vihti gather for concerts by their own parish music groups several times a year. In addition to services, the church hosts weddings, baptisms, blessing ceremonies and concerts.
The church holds services on Sundays and most other public holidays at 10am.
