Vihti Museum
The renovated museum is now open to visitors!
Vihti Museum is a professionally run local museum in the cultural and historical surroundings of Vihti, preserving the cultural heritage of Vihti and related information.
The museum has previously been located in two different buildings along Kirkkoniementie and in a granary along Niuhalanraitti, which is a road that runs through the church village.
Nowadays, Vihti Museum is located by the edge of the Kyläaukio square in Vihti church village. The museum is housed in a magnificent wooden building designed by Artturi Hiidenheimo and completed in 1911. Known as the Kuntala, the building also served as Vihti's first municipal hall.
You can follow the life of the museum on its Facebook page. Opening hours can be found on the Vihti Museum website.
