Vihti is a partner in the Nouxfest outdoor leisure festival, which takes place from 14-17 August. Now in its second year, the event will bring together people interested in nature and outdoor activities and offer the opportunity to try out different activities and related products.
Vihti has a strong connection with Nuuksioon - after all, most of it is located in Vihti municipality. Through the partnership, Vihti's own gateways to Nuuksio National Park and other nature sites in the municipality will be highlighted in Nouxfest's marketing and materials, as well as on-site at the event.
The festival programme includes experiments, courses, workshops, competitions and stage shows in various outdoor activities and sports. The Nouxfest Expo, an exhibition area for outdoor products and services, will be part of the event, with product trials and other interesting outdoor activities. In the evenings, there will be activities for all, including an evening entertainment programme, outdoor films, music, interesting performers and food sales.
Nouxfest's base camp will be the Haltias event site at the Finnish Nature Centre Haltias. Programmes take place in the nearby forests, lakes and cliffs.
