The Uusimaa Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment has granted the municipality of Vihti €5,000 in preparatory funding for a business group project from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. The EU's share of the preparatory funding is €2,150.
The preparatory funding will be used to investigate the feasibility of a potentially larger tourism business cluster in the Nuuksio area. The work will be carried out in collaboration with experts from ProAgria Southern Finland and interested tourism entrepreneurs.
The preparatory grant is intended to result in a project plan and funding application for a business group project. The main objective of the proposed business group project will be to promote international tourism in the Nuuksio area.
