The Nummela Art Night brings a variety of art, light and colour to the darkness of October!
The street art exhibition Palma Art, which received wide national attention last autumn, will continue on Saturday 8.10.2022 with its opening event Nummela Art Night.
The Vihti Nummela Airport will feature street murals, artworks and installations by nationally renowned artists, enhanced by colourful lights and video art in the darkening autumn evening. The artistic content of Nummela Art Night draws its themes from the unique ridge topography of the venue and the themes of flight, among others. Check out the artists on the event's Instagram account! The visual identity of the event is created by illustrator Ossi Pirkonen.
The visually unique event will also feature some of the top alternative pop acts from Finland: Vesta, pehmoaino, MELO, Antti Autio, View, Malla and Koisjärvi Disko, as well as top DJs X-man, Huge Hefner, Mizfire and Antti Kneckt! The award-winning children's cultural association SirkusRakkausPumPum will also be present, offering an accessible spray painting workshop open to all.
For those arriving from Helsinki, the return journey will be made by charter. After the event, Vainion Liikenne will run two charter services to Vihti chuch village and Kamppi in Helsinki. The buses will leave after the event at 00:30 from the parking area of the Nummelanharju school and a later bus will leave at 04:00 from Nummela centre. The bus will stop at express bus stops if necessary and you can get onboard by showing your event ticket to the driver.
Nummela Art Night is a magical street art event and one of the last outdoor music festivals of the autumn, so come and enjoy the whole day! The event is age-restricted and tickets are on sale at the Tiketti ticket service.
