The opening of the new Vihti Cultural Centre is coming soon! The former Kirkkoniemi school in Vihti has been given a real makeover and will soon be home to Vihti's very own cultural centre.
Kultsa Cultural Centre is an active and bold melting pot of creative industries, serving the people and communities of Viht and the surrounding municipalities in a variety of ways. The Cultural Centre has been built to provide, among other things, versatile art and liberal arts facilities for leisure and education, and a 60-seat restaurant.
At the heart of the Cultural Centre is a 350-seat modern performing arts theatre, which will host club-style gigs on Saturday 12 October, starting with alternative pop greats Paris Spring! Get your tickets from Tiketti.
During the autumn holidays, Kultsa is taken over by young people! The youth disco on Friday 18 October invites 3rd-6th graders to party from 16-18 with DJ Ollist and 7th-9th graders from 19.30-21 with a surprise performer! Free admission to the youth disco.
The Cultural Centre will be opened on 10 October with an invitation ceremony and on 11 October with a bench draw for those who have bought a bench. By participating in the bench campaign, you will be entered into a unique opening draw! The programme will feature a firework display of Estonian culture, put together by Otalampen-based director Antti Taipale.
You can find Kultsa in Vihti, in the beautiful scenery of the village of Kirkkoniementie 8, 03400 Vihti. Kululta Cultural Centre and its event space are accessible to all. There is also an accessible toilet. For long-distance travellers, there are around 60 free customer parking spaces in the courtyard of the Cultural Centre.
