Kivipuisto Gadoliniitti

The stone park, designed and built by members of Vihti Kivikoruharrastajat ry, is located in the Vihti church village of Makasiininmäki.

The rock park presents the life work of the world-famous chemist Professor Johan Gadolin and the rock formations and specialities of Vihti. The rock park also displays rocks that migrated from the Gulf of Bothnia to Vihti during the Ice Age.

Stone samples are also on display opposite the stone park, at the Vihti Museum.

The brochure can be downloaded from the rock park's website. A guide in Finnish is also available on request.
