On Saturday 25 May, Nummela will transform into a big event arena when Nummela Day takes place for the second time!
The event, organised by the Nummela Guild, highlights Nummela businesses, associations and the services they offer through fun and togetherness!
As last year, there is a programme for the whole day and the whole family. The event starts at 10am with a children's event on the roof park of K-Citymarket and the events move to the market at 14.00. The market itself will be open from the morning and the market traders will be there.
The children's event will include a circus show, a performance by a children's music band, dance performances and workshops where children can get involved themselves. There will also be things to see and do for both children and adults around the Linjaport from 10am onwards, including electric car demonstrations and a horse-drawn carriage ride.
The square will host several performers during the afternoon, including Cool Earth, Duo Mirva Saviniemi & Kimmo Kivistö and Vivia. The day's headliner at 18:00 will be up-and-coming artist BEE, whose single Viimeisiä sanoja is playing on the airwaves. BEE's debut album Hupsis, released in September, reached number one in the album charts.
Nummela's cafés, restaurants and mobile food outlets offer a wide variety of delicacies for the festive crowd throughout the day and the brick-and-mortar shops open their doors. Also follow the communication of local businesses about Nummela Day! You can find the Nummela Day website here!
The Nummela Day is coordinated by the Nummela Guild, with the participation of Vihti Municipality, Vihti Youth Chamber of Commerce, Vihti Entrepreneurs and Nummela's retailers. The main partner of the event is K-Citymarket Vihti-Nummela and about 30 local businesses are also involved.
