On Saturday 7.9.2024, Nummela's Hiidenkirnu baseball stadium will be the scene of a big sporting celebration as the Vihti Race adventure gets things going again in early September!
As usual, there will be a traditional, more physical race series and, for the first time last year, an excursion series suitable for adventurers of all ages and abilities.
A series of races to challenge the toughest adventurers
The Race Series will once again provide a challenge for adventurers who want to test their physical fitness and teamwork skills. The Race Series has added fun new twists to the route that will challenge teams in a new way.
The race will be run on bicycles and, as in previous years, participants can expect a demanding bike route. The adventure will start at 8.00 am and will take approximately 12 hours.
The competition is played in teams of three and the age limit is 18 years. The entry fee is €150 per team.
Race series registration is open on the Vihti Race website and closes on 11.8. or when the maximum number of teams is full.
A relaxed way to get around
Last year, Vihti Race was joined by a series of outings suitable for all ages and abilities. Vihti Race's hiking series is a great way to spend time together as a family or a group of friends. The trail series runs at moderate distances in the Nummela countryside, while at the same time introducing the participants to Vihti's diverse sports and leisure facilities.
Participation is free of charge and registration is done on the day of the event at the race centre in the baseball stadium.
The series of excursions starts at 10.30 and lasts from 1 to 4 hours. You can cycle at your own pace. You can choose the routes according to your own interests.
